I'm perfectly content with prodigy guy casting firestorms off prodigy and only having a respectable flash level (like 9 seconds or so). I'd be more excited if something like fireball came up due to our current draft picks. and I'd be even MORE excited if hp came up.

Blinding Flash for the win.
Reading this thread makes me wish I could actually try this out. I'm a big fan of draft/sealed in MTG, and this really isn't much different.

Fine, spamming Heal Party might not be the most optimal way to spend your time...

god. so hard. I'd go with windborne since this is draft-gvg and it's going to put you ahead on flags compared to a team with no speed buff, and no pro cripshot. Snares+windborne means you can probably get boosts fast. Otherwise, I'd take aegis. Frenzy would be good, except frenzied warriors need proper monk support to be effective, and unfortunatley we don't have that support at the moment.

Ah that's hard. I would have to say frenzy, just because with it you're going to have a very dangerous warrior, especially if some more skills come up. Even with just executioner's strike, bull's charge + frenzy is some dangerous stuff.

You already have bull's charge, dark prison, and crippling shot to harrass their flag runner. So my answer is frenzy without question.

In my mind it's a toss up between Aegis and Frenzy, but if it came down to it I'd probably go with Frenzy too.

Originally said frenzy. Now editting.
Lets grap aegis. At worst we can put it on our flasher and put the fire skills on a second elementalist.
Damage is cheap in guild wars. Frenzy is a nice damage skill, but we'll be able to pick some odd damage late.

I would exculude Windborne because I want my prodigy ele w/bflash at the stand. Frenzy would be my choice, but wow at the amount of aegis in the draft.

Frenzy: 4
Windborne: 1
Aegis: 2
I'd have drafted Aegis, but whatever.
Drafted Cards:
Crippling Shot
Orison of Healing
Signet of Devotion
Executioner's Strike
Distracting Blow
Bull's Charge
Divine Intervention
Troll Unguent
Soul Leech
Lava Font
Backfire
Dark Prison
Fire Storm
Arcane Thievery
Called Shot
Infuse Condition
Ether Prodigy
Apply Poison
Blinding Flash
Frenzy
Pack 5:
Shadow Refuge
Conjure Lightning
Winnowing
Overload
Flurry
Splinter Shot
Holy Wrath
Aegis
Phantom Pain
Disrupting Lunge
Glyph of Renewal
Ineptitude
WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THE AEGISES? Seriously, I didn't rig it. -_-
Let's hope our teammate opposite us grabs a few of them...

Time to pick Aegis, at least put it into the emo with an 8 second length. We have a few mesmer skills so a Me/Mo with aegis might be in the future if we manage to find another one.

Damn, I see like...5 Aegises in the draft packs that were passed to us. Crazy.
/reminds self to create booster packs later on and not rely on randomizers
I'd also pick Aegis.

Aegis is just so good because of the lack of enchantment removal in drafts. I am really upset for not picking it before.

If our opposing teammate's lucky and manages to scrape up 2 Aegises from the 4 we did pass.../drools
Assuming there's no opposition to the pick.
Drafted Cards:
Crippling Shot
Orison of Healing
Signet of Devotion
Executioner's Strike
Distracting Blow
Bull's Charge
Divine Intervention
Troll Unguent
Soul Leech
Lava Font
Backfire
Dark Prison
Fire Storm
Arcane Thievery
Called Shot
Infuse Condition
Ether Prodigy
Apply Poison
Blinding Flash
Frenzy
Aegis
Pack 6:
Heal Other
Mend Ailment
Well of the Profane
Aura of Restoration
Eruption
Whirlwind
Live Vicariously
Savage Shot
Immolate
Word of Healing
Honestly, I'm surprised Word of Healing got that far, but I'm not complaining. =P

WoH because I doubt there will be many monk elite skills floating in the draft and we already have some healing skills.
Edit: Well only Orision, but I still want to relly on more than Orision.
Otherwise I would look at:
Savage Shot, great on a ranger goes perfect with ourshapping up cripshot.
Immolate: Spammable under Ether Prodigy. I like that.
Mend Ailment: Condition removal pleeeeeeaaaasssseeee...

WoH. Even though it's an elite, remember our monk doesn't have one yet...and neither does the second monk

Mend Ailment - removal can win you the game + it's target self as well.
